Leakages Of Mental Energy.

I have met few powerful people in my life who had enormously high levels of energy, its unlimited resources. I decided to achieve the same state, I know that if someone succeeds, I can do it too.

There is a lot of talk about energy sources, in the previous article I wrote about six sources that I use to unleash my mental energy. This time, I would like to share with you something equally important, if not more important ...

I would like to highlight four issues that without your attention can use up a large part of your mental energy. Note, most people are unaware of this.

1. EXCESSIVE THINKING,

uncontrolled thoughts cause many energy-consuming thought constructs, such as:

  • endless-analyzing and judging can literally paralyze you. Think how much energy is needed to analyze the infinite version of reality and imagine all possible scenarios. Amazing, right?

  • doubts and internal conflicts related to them, a whole lot of energy.

  • hesitation, if you hesitate, it means that part of you want to do something, while the other part stops you, imagine how much energy it takes to stop you from doing something that you want deep inside. The consequences of unanswered desires will drain your energy for a long time by feeling incomplete and wondering ‘what if?’.

I have dealt with it mostly through meditation and self-study. Mindful walks, body exercise, reading a meaningful book,s and other practices are also helpful. If you want to be in charge of your Mind work on developing self-awareness.

2. LACK OF DISTANCE,

If you take everything seriously or personally then you put yourself in a state of tension, you analyze in-depth everything you see and hear, wondering what it might mean. Your focus, and with it most of your mental energy, is used to evaluate events or someone else's opinions. All your attention, your most powerful tool, is focused on something unworthy, and you put a large part of yourself into the wrong place. It often goes on long after that.

If you feel that this can be related to you then you have the chance to unlock a huge part of your life force. It is helped by strengthening self-esteem, realizing that it is in our hands what we feel, and we can change at any moment. The opinion of others should not limit us. I encourage you to explore this topic.

3. SELF-TALK,

The thinking process is continuous, you perceive reality every moment and assign meaning to it. You interpret what is happening in the form of feelings and language. Most of the time it is accompanied by an internal dialogue, it seems as if we are having a monologue or talking to someone in our head. This talk can be a source of mental energy, but it can also become a serious obstacle. If the conversation you are having in your mind is depressing, lazy, critical, or filled with bad emotions, then you need to change that. The moment you criticize yourself instead of being your best friend, then you literally devour your energy potential.

If your inner dialogue is demotivating or negative, it's time to change that. Give yourself a chance, enjoy yourself more often, congratulate yourself, write down your victories, cherish fond memories, develop self-love. It's time to take on the role of your best trainer!

4. PEOPLE,

There is a very simple rule that can tell you if you are surrounding yourself with the right people. If in their presence you feel uncomfortable, you must think before you say something, or you feel that you are not yourself, this is a sign that these are not your people. Trying to fit in consumes a lot of mental energy. The bad company takes away your dreams, prevents you from truly enjoying life. Instead of lifting you up it blocks your position or makes it worse. Healthy relationships, on the other hand, are based on giving, supporting, and uplifting, such relationships promote openness, self-expression, and a sense of wholeness.

If there are people in your life you are uncomfortable with, talk to those you care about, maybe there is some unresolved issue that drains your relationship. If this problem is not resolved, energy will continue to be consumed and you will not use your full potential. Think about how you feel when you are with a certain company. Maybe it is time to manage this resource too?

Mental Energy, apart from drawing from its sources, its leakage should be minimized. I want you to be able to correctly channel your energy, being aware of its consumption. Remember, every action, thought, feeling, in essence - every function is fueled by energy!
